ROBERT Pattinson's 'fiancee' FKA Twigs has shared an Instagram photo without her engagement ring... as her other half was snapped enjoying an intimate dinner with Katy Perry.
The musician's fans noticed Twigs' bare engagement ring finger in her latest social media snap, showing her lounging on a sofa with her left hand clearly visible.
While Twigs rarely wears her 'engagement' ring in Instagram photos, fans couldn't help asking about the current state of play with R-Pattz.
One asked her: "Are you and Robert Pattinson still a thing?"
Another simply asked: "Is she still engaged to Rob?"
FKA Twigs, 29, and Robert, 31, have always been secretive about their relationship and although they occasionally walk the red carpet together, they generally prefer to keep away from the spotlight.
They're so low key they haven't even confirmed an actual engagement, despite Twigs being snapped on occasion with a glittering ring on her engagement finger.
The rock is believed to be a 4-carat diamond worth $150,000.
Reports of the couple's rumoured engagement surfaced in 2015, with Robert said to have popped the question after just six months of dating.
Confusingly, Robert said just recently that he was "kind of" engaged when quizzed about his relationship with Twigs during a US interview.
Rob told Howard Stern's radio show that he was reluctant to discuss details of his romance in public as he feared letting people get too close.
"It's one of the most frustrating things in the world, because you want to be able to do that," he said.
"But you get kind of stuck in a position where you have to make the decision - do you want to let, kind of, crazy people in?
"So you kind of think, to protect it, I want to create a big boundary between it, but then it makes it difficult for your actual relationship."
Twigs' moody photo was posted four days before Robert was seen dining with his old pal Katy, 32, at a candlelit restaurant in West Hollywood.
The pair sat next to each other on a small table with friends at the Sunset Tower Hotel restaurant on Saturday evening.
Robert and Katy, who split from Hollywood actor Orlando Bloom in March, have been friends for years.
They were romantically linked back in 2013 after Robert split from Twilight co-star Kristen Stewart, 27, but they have always maintained they just enjoy a close, platonic friendship.
Katy told Elle magazine that year: "He's my bud, I'm like his big sister. We just hang out. The other day, I said, 'One of the things I'm most proud of is not sleeping with you, Robert.' And that's true."
Katy even said she contacted Kristen after being linked to Robert to reassure her that there was no romance between her and R-Pattz.
'I sent her a text message saying, 'I know you've seen all this stuff but you know I would never disrespect you. I'm not that person. I'm just trying to be a friend to him but it is unfortunate that I do have a set of t*ts'," she said.
The same year Katy told Australia's Kyle and Jackie O Show: "If you're a girl, you can't be friends with that guy, that poor guy. I feel for him."
Meanwhile, although Robert and Twigs prefer to keep things out of the public eye, they have on occasion gushed about each other's talent in interviews.
Twigs has also opened up about abuse she's suffered from some of Robert's hardcore fans unhappy about their romance.
"I wouldn't say I'm completely numb to it now, but there's definitely a numbness there," she told Complex in 2015.
"It is pretty horrible, but ultimately, I'm in an amazing relationship. So it doesn't matter."
She added to the New York Times it was "really hard" to see such negative comments, but at the end of the day, her relationship with Robert made it "worth it".
"It's really hard - I can't begin to explain how awful it is," she said. "I didn't see my life going this way at all. But it's worth it. I'm so happy."
