Jerod S Good Time lost me when the random guy Pattinson picks up from the hospital becomes a main character. Felt like the brotherly relationship was lost for the last half. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 04/05/24 Full Review Brendan N The Safdie brothers have a way with creating movies that are full of tension. Overall really well done movie, Pattinson was great from start to finish. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/24/24 Full Review KB B Whoa this one completely caught me off guard. It's definitely not your typical heist movie. It will absolutely have your attention right from the start. Robert Pattinson and Benny Safdie were exceptional together. It's definitely worth the watch. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/08/24 Full Review Josh Z This movie did for Robert Pattinson what Blood Diamond and the departed did for Leonardo DiCaprio - Made me realize these guys were actually good actors. Every movie I saw with Robert Pattinson before led me to believe he was a poor actor. Now I realize I was wrong. So wrong. He is an absolutely phenomenal actor, right up there with Leo. And now I can rewatch all the films he was in that I cast off due to what was clearly a misperception or viewer naïveté to the art of acting. Furthermore, this is a one-of-a-kind masterpiece for the genre, one that gives us human emotion and thematic material that is distinct from other films. Elements of the incredible "DRIVE" are present here, and I would be surprised if the director didn't take huge inspiration from that film. That said, it stands alone. It is unique. What a gem. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/21/24 Full Review Olson K Watched on 02/19/2024. Robert Pattinson is awesome. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/20/24 Full Review Cutter75 You got a good dose of reality watching this no superhuman BS Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/19/24 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Robert Daniels 812filmreviews Good Time isn't an exuberant or happy-go-lucky emotional ride, rather it's the cruel irony of white privileged in even the lowest rungs of class. Rated: 3.5/4 Aug 27, 2018 Full Review Donald Clarke Irish Times Nick's character doesn't exactly develop, but we do see its innards teased gradually apart. Ben Safdie's touching performance bookends the film with enormous grace. Rated: 4/5 Nov 29, 2017 Full Review Mark Kermode Observer (UK) Pattinson is utterly convincing as the Manson-eyed Connie, a manipulative force of nature (alternately mesmerising, repugnant and pathetic) who leaves a trail of destruction in his wake. Rated: 4/5 Nov 19, 2017 Full Review Colin Biggs Vague Visages Refreshingly, The Safdie brothers don’t ask viewers to see the alternatively neon and concrete world through Connie’s eyes, but to witness him inflict his will on others. Mar 25, 2024 Full Review Benedict Seal Vague Visages Ultimately, a strong Robert Pattinson performance is let down by this blundering thriller that’s an assault on the senses and the mind. Dec 5, 2023 Full Review Peter Bell Vague Visages By exposing the falsehood of one’s presumption of power, the Safdies awaken viewers to the inescapable consequences of their actions and weaknesses, along with the vulnerability of their own fate.
