The British Fashion Awards is meant to be one of the most stylish nights of the year and a chance for the fashion elite to show off their excellent taste.

But a host of celebrities at tonight's event - in which British Fashion Council recognises outstanding talent in the UK's fashion industry - seemed to miss the mark.

Rochelle Humes opted for an unusual ensemble, donning a white mini dress with enormous buttons and furry sleeves, teamed with a sparkly silver chained skirt when arriving at London's Royal Albert Hall.

Looking equally eye-catching, Tilda Swinton once again displayed her extravagant sense of style in a satin gown with a Renaissance-era painting design, under a contrasting overcoat with a tartan collar.

Mother-of-three Rochelle teamed her tiny dress with black opaque tights and heels, certainly catching the attention of onlookers as she made her entrance. 

Showing off her newly-shortened bobbed tresses, Rochelle's hair was finished with a wet-look style, while she completed her look with a smattering of glamorous makeup.

Elsewhere, actress Tilda, 62, turned heads in a blue patterned cape dress teamed with a quirky Surrealist-inspired coat as she posed up a storm on the red carpet.

Not content with wowing with just her outfit, Tilda's blonde locks were swept into a Mohawk-esque style, finishing her look with a bold red lip.

Shay Mitchell, 35, opted for a bright green frock with a black bra underneath. Shay completed her ensemble with a pair of clear heels with black loveheart detail

Model Olivia Culpo, 30, wore a black satin body with a mint silk overskirt. The brunette beauty completed her outfit with a pair of black suede heels

French actress Pom Klementieff, 36, wore a vibrant green mini ruched dress to the event with a tutu skirt and opted for a grungy 90s-inspired makeup look

Model Elsa Hosk, 34, meanwhile, flashed her washboard abs in a bizarre ensemble, featuring a tiny white embellished bralette teamed with a matching maxi skirt.

Elsa oozed confidence as she displayed her cleavage and super toned midriff in the  revealing top which featured floral embellishments, diamanté studs and a black belt detail. 

The Swedish beauty, who swept her blonde locks into a chic up do for the occasion, also showed off her legs in the thigh-split skirt which she teamed with barely-there metallic heels.

Out there! Meanwhile, Lily exuded Hollywood beauty in a unique white gown with a very dramatic frilled bodice and a matching mermaid skirt

Risque! Making her debut at the Fashion Awards, Love Island winner Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu showed off her own eye-popping cleavage in a jaw-dropping nude gown, with just a floral diamante design, and a pale pink fur wrap, preserving her modesty

Singer Paloma Faith, 41, and reality star Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, 28, both left little to the imagination in nude, sheer dresses. 

Paloma's opted for a plunging illusions dress with a black wavy sheer overlay and a nude underskirt, to show off her Vidal Sasson-inspired haircut.

Whilst the Love Island winner showed off her own eye-popping cleavage in a jaw-dropping nude gown, complete with intricate colourful diamante floral embellishments.

Quirky! Jessica Wang put on a bold display in a dramatic purple blouse with enormous puffed sleeves and a matching skirt, teamed with enormous chunky white platform boots

Putting on a colourful display, model and activist Munroe Bergdorf, 35 certainly brought the drama with her outfit, arriving in a cobalt blue gown with an enormous ruffled skirt and a sequinned bodice. 

Bringing in more drama was Jessica Wang who opted for a quirky purple blouse with huge puffed sleeves and matching skirt. 

The Chinese blogger paired her dramatic amethyst ensemble with enormous chunky white platform boots and white gloves nearly up to her armpits.
