Leaving it till Twilight! Newly-single Robert Pattinson has his hands full while doing some VERY last minute shopping in London as he prepares for Christmas Day

He is best known as one of the hunkiest actors in Hollywood after starring as the smoldering Edward Cullen in the Twilight saga. 

But Robert Pattinson proved he was just like everyone else when he was spotted doing some very late shopping in London on Christmas Eve on Sunday.

The casually-clad Twilight heartthrob, 31, had a successful shopping spree as he was swamped with six bags when he headed home.

Hunky Robert wore the hood of in a grey NIKE hoodie to shield his face from the cold and layered up with a padded bomber jacket for added warmth.

The British actor, who hails from London, accessorised with a baseball cap as he kept a low-profile in the capital. 

Robert made a slew of purchases at MatchesFashion.com and left the shop with a total of four bags to show of it. 

In November it was five years since the final chapter of the Twilight Saga Breaking Dawn: Part II had been released.

The hunk reflected on filming the teenage vampire series and described it as 'fond memories' in an interview with E! News in a recent interview.

Robert told the publication: 'It's all fond memories. I mean it's almost more fond the further you get from it...It's just such a magical way to spend your 20s.' 

He fell madly in love for his Twilight co-star Kristen Stewart who played his character Edward Cullen's love interest Bella Swan on the screen.  

The Twilight co-stars' love story lasted almost four years from 2008 until 2012.

But it came to a dramatic end soon after Kristen was pictured kissing Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders. 

Sparks flew when Robert began dating FKA Twigs - real name Tahliah Debrett Barnett - in September 2014 as he moved on from his break up with his co-star.

Rumours were swirling that the couple decided to get engaged just seven months after dating although both parties explicitly refused to confirm or deny claims.

Now Robert is newly-single following their split in October when he reportedly called it quits on their romance.

Elsewhere Kristen is going from strength to strength with her girlfriend Stella Maxwell since it first surfaced they were an item back in 2016.

Their relationship status was finally sealed with a kiss when they were spotted smooching in the back of a taxi in Milan at the beginning of this year.
