Margaret Qualley and her new boyfriend Jack Antonoff pack on the PDA during low-key stroll in New York

They went public with their romance in August.

And Margaret Qualley, 26, and Jack Antonoff, 37, looked loved-up as they packed on the PDA in Tribeca, New York on Thursday.

The daughter of Andy Andie MacDowell and Lena Dunham's musician ex opted for comfort in jeans and T-shirts and could hardly keep their hands off one another as they enjoyed a stroll.

Margaret cut a casual figure in blue mom jeans and a white graphic T-shirt. The actress paired her relaxed look with black trainers and a chain strap handbag.

The beauty chatted on the phone while draping her arm over the Bleachers singer's shoulders.

Jack, meanwhile, donned black jeans and a green graphic T-shirt which he paired with black trainers.

The American singer kept a tight grip around Margaret's waist and planted a sweet kiss on her forehead as they strolled through the city.

The low-key outing comes after Margaret recently said she supports FKA twigs on her lawsuit against Shia LaBeouf, stating she believes her allegations of mental and physical abuse against the actor.

The actress spoke to Harper's Bazaar about the unsavoury accusations aimed at LaBeouf, who she once dated, as she covered their October issue, claiming: 'It was important to me for her to know that I believe her.'

The interview comes as FKA (stage name of Tahliah Debrett Barnett), 33, sued LaBeouf for sexual battery, assault and the infliction of emotional distress in December- something which the actor vehemently denies.

Despite never making any allegations against their mutual ex herself, The Once Upon A Time In Hollywood star said to the publication: 'It was important to me for her to know that I believe her—and it’s as simple as that.'

Margaret was first romantically linked to LaBeouf, 34, in December, around the time FKA first made the allegations.

She and the former Disney Channel star met when they starred together in the NSFW music video for Love Me Like You Hate Me by Rainsford, also known as Margaret's big sister Rainey Qualley, 30.

They subsequently called it quits weeks later in early January, when a source told People: 'They're just in different places in their lives.'

Meanwhile, the up-and-coming actress has been preparing herself to portray the fallout of emotional abuse of her character in the series Maid.

'Unfortunately, it’s so common. And it’s true that more than half of people experience some level of psychological threat within a relationship in their lifetime,' she said.

'I just did my best to read the script and experience Alex’s reality as much as possible within the scenes.'

The former ballerina is playing this emotionally vulnerable role alongside her actual mother on-screen - an experience she found to be a genuine one.
