It's difficult to imagine a house with more beautiful imagery than that of Dior—one that has always prioritized elegance and embraced drama. Rizzoli and a new exhibition launching May 3 at the Christian Dior Museum in Normandy are leveraging those beautiful photos with, "The Legendary Images: Great Photographers And Dior." A tribute to the lensmen and women who have captured the house's ethos in photos, the exhibit and book showcase a timeline from Pat English's photos from Christian Dior's first fashion show to Avedon's iconic image of Dovima with elephants to Robert Pattinson by Nan Goldin for Dior Homme.
