Since the beginning, the Festival de Cannes has been invited us to discover the greatest composers.

From Ennio Morricone to Georges Delerue, Michel Legrand, Michael Nyman and Nino Rota, the Festival has always revealed extraordinary talents.

Created in 2010 by Vincent Doerr, Cannes Soundtrack highlights films music. It rewards a movie composer in the official selection. The award is given by a jury of independent journalists. This year, 15 journalists will make up the jury of this edition. Their choice will be made from the list of films in Official Selection. They will meet on May 26th 2023 on the croisette to deliberate.
